Big action by CBI in NEET UG-2026 exam irregularities and paper leak case, 5 accused arrested

Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) NEET UG-2026 Exam Major action has been taken on Wednesday (May 13, 2026) in the alleged irregularities and paper leak case. CBI has arrested five accused in this case from three different places. Along with this, CBI has also conducted rapid raids at many places across the country.

Among the five accused, three were arrested from Jaipur, one from Nashik and one from Gurugram.

Out of the five accused arrested by CBI in the alleged irregularities and paper leak case in NEET examination, three accused were arrested from Jaipur. The names of these three accused are Mangilal Biwal, Vikas Biwal and Dinesh Biwal. Apart from this, accused named Shubham Khairnar from Nashik, Maharashtra and Yash Yadav from Gurugram, Haryana have been arrested. So far, CBI has arrested a total of 5 accused in this case. Apart from this, interrogation of many other suspects is going on.

CBI raids the house of accused Shubham Khairnar in Nashik

CBI raided the house of Shubham Khairnar, accused in the NEET paper leak case, in Nandgaon, Nashik on Wednesday (May 13, 2026). The CBI team and local police searched the house of the accused. Shubham’s family members were interrogated for several hours. Let us tell you that yesterday, Tuesday (May 12, 2026), the CBI team had detained Shubham Khairnar in the paper leak case.

CBI action on the complaint filed by the Ministry of Education

CBI on Tuesday (May 12, 2026) Ministry of Education The case was registered on the basis of a written complaint received from the Higher Education Department. In the complaint, allegations of irregularities and paper leaks were made in the conduct of NEET UG-2026 examination.

In the FIR, various sections of the Indian Justice Code (BNS), Prevention of Corruption Act and Public Examination (Unfair Means Prevention) Act 2024 have been imposed, including criminal conspiracy, cheating, criminal breach of trust.

CBI’s search operation at many places across the country

The investigating agency took action and conducted search operations at many places across the country. During the raid, many electronic devices including mobile phones and objectionable documents were also recovered. CBI is also coordinating with Rajasthan SOG in this case, which had conducted the initial investigation. The agency is investigating all aspects related to the paper leak through technical and forensic analysis. CBI says that the investigation of the case will continue in a fair, comprehensive and professional manner.
