A serious case of monkey terror has come to light in Kunhadi area of ​​Kota city of Rajasthan. A red faced monkey attacked a government official who had gone to help a neighbor at Parshvanath Residency on Bundi Road. The officer suffered serious leg injuries in the attack and had to be taken to hospital for treatment. There is an atmosphere of panic in the colony after the incident.

According to the information, the injured Narendra Singh is working as Additional Administrative Officer (AAO) in the Employees State Insurance (ESI) Department. On Friday morning around 8:30 he received a call from a neighbor. The neighbor told that a monkey has entered his house and is not coming out for a long time. In such a situation, Narendra Singh reached there to help him.

The monkey attacked as soon as the gate opened

It is being told that as soon as Narendra Singh opened the gate of the house, the monkey suddenly pounced on him. The monkey attacked him vigorously and bit his right leg. The attack was so severe that even the flesh of his leg came out. The people present nearby also got scared due to the sudden attack.

After the incident, the people of the colony raised an alarm, after which the monkey ran away from there. Former Student Union President Vinay Raj Singh and others immediately helped the injured officer and took him to the hospital, where he was treated.

There has been an atmosphere of fear in the colony for many days

Local people say that this red faced monkey has been roaming in the colony for the last three-four days and troubling the people. Children and elderly people are afraid to leave their homes. The monkey had entered the house on Friday and was present there for about two days and was not coming out.

Municipal Corporation accused of negligence

Injured Narendra Singh and the residents of the colony say that a complaint has already been given to the Municipal Corporation regarding monkey menace. Despite this, till now no team has reached the spot to catch the monkey.

At present the monkey is roaming around the colony, due to which there is fear among the people. Local people have demanded immediate action from the administration to catch the monkey.
