Accident on Mumbai-Vadodara highway, car jumped 200 meters; 2 died in tragic accident

In a tragic road accident in Badlapur of Thane district in the early hours of Sunday (June 21), a young man and a girl died on the spot, while another youth was seriously injured. The accident happened near Eranjad area on Mumbai-Vadodara Highway. It is being told that the three friends were returning in a BMW car after celebrating a birthday party.

According to the police, the accident happened around 3 am on Sunday morning. The BMW car was coming from Titwala towards Badlapur. Meanwhile, due to high speed the driver could not control the car. The car collided heavily with the iron divider installed on the roadside. The collision was so severe that the luxury car kept dragging and bouncing for about 200 meters.

Car explodes, creates panic on the spot

The magnitude of the accident can be gauged from the fact that the BMW was completely damaged after the collision. According to local people and eyewitnesses, the accident was so serious that the body parts of the deceased were scattered far and wide. After the accident, there was chaos in the area and people immediately informed the police and ambulance.

In the accident, a young man and a girl traveling in the car died on the spot. The third youth was seriously injured. He was immediately rushed to the hospital, where his treatment is ongoing. The injured youth has been admitted to Jupiter Hospital in Thane and doctors are constantly monitoring his condition.

Police are investigating the accident

As soon as information about the accident was received, the police reached the spot and started relief work. The police have taken the dead bodies into their custody and sent them for post-mortem. The crashed BMW has also been confiscated. In the initial investigation, high speed is being considered as the main reason for the accident, however, the police is investigating the matter in detail keeping all the aspects in mind.
