After fruitful talks going on in Switzerland, it has committed to ensure unhindered and safe navigation in the Strait of Hormuz and to allow IAEA inspectors entry into its country.

Will India benefit or will the situation remain intact?

However, only time will tell how beneficial the financial sanctions lifted by the US on Iran will be for India’s long-term energy imports, but it can definitely prove to be a quick relief for India, which will increase the pressure on crude oil in the global energy market and may reduce the prices of fuel and gas in India.

According to Sumit Ritolia, chief analyst of modeling and refining at Kpler, even though the talks between America and Iran are going in a positive direction, there is no hope of any major crude oil deal with Iran.
