Australia Scholarship: If you are dreaming of studying in Australia and the cost of studying abroad is your biggest concern, then this news may be useful for you. Griffith University of Australia has announced the Vice Chancellor’s International Scholarship for international students. Under this scholarship, all eligible Indians will be given tuition fee waiver of up to 50 percent for the entire duration of their undergraduate and postgraduate degrees. This scholarship is available to students who will begin full-time study at the university in 2026 or 2027 and meet the prescribed eligibility criteria. This scholarship has been started especially for meritorious international students, so that the financial burden of the students is reduced and they can pursue higher education in Australia.

Which students will get the benefit?

This scholarship is for new international students seeking admission to full-time undergraduate and postgraduate course work at Griffith University. Selected students will get up to 50 percent rebate in tuition fees during the entire degree, but the condition will be that they follow all the conditions of the scholarship.

Who can apply?

The student applying for the scholarship must be a citizen of India. Apart from this, the person should have an offer letter for any eligible undergraduate or post graduate course of Griffith University. The previous educational record of the applicant should also be good. For this, a minimum GPA of 6.0 or its equivalent is required. Also, the student will have to fulfill all the requirements of educational qualification and English language prescribed for the course in which he wants to take admission.

How can I apply?

To apply for this scholarship, the interested student must first apply for his/her preferred undergraduate or postgraduate course at Griffith University. After receiving the offer letter, you will have to apply separately for scholarship within the prescribed limit. Along with the application, students will also have to submit their educational documents and personal statement. After this, the selection committee of the university will review all the applications and select the eligible candidates.

Important dates for scholarship

The university is accepting applications according to different trimesters. Trimester-3 (November 2026 Intake) last date for application is 15 August 2026, while the results will be released by 28 August 2026. Apart from this, the last date for Trimester-1 (March 2027 intake) application has been fixed as 28th November. In such a situation, students who are planning to study in Australia can apply for admission in Griffith University. After this, after receiving the offer letter, students can also apply for scholarship within the stipulated time.
