CM Bhagwant Mann’s big announcement, digital jail will be built in Ludhiana at a cost of 100 crores

Punjab News: Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann reached Ladda Kothi in Sangrur on Thursday. Where he gave appointment letters to 200 jail wardens after completion of training. During this, CM Mann announced that a digital jail would be set up in Ludhiana. For which the central government has approved Rs 100 crore. Hardcore criminals will be kept in this jail. A court will be set up inside the jail to present these criminals. The judge himself will go to this jail and the criminal will be produced in the court built in this digital jail. In which the judge will sit on the lower floor and the prisoners will sit on the upper floor.

Digital jail will be built in Ludhiana
CM Bhagwant Mann said that one of the biggest problems in Punjab is that there are hardcore prisoners who are very difficult to take from jail to court. Has taken approval from the Government and the Ministry of Home Affairs for the high security jail to be built in Ludhiana district at a cost of Rs 100 crore. Which will start soon, the Chief Minister said that this high security jail to be built in Ludhiana district will be special in itself.

Digital jail will have 2 floors
Hardcore prisoners will be kept in this digital jail and there will be 2 floors of this jail, prisoners will stay on the first floor, Judge Sahiban’s office and court will be on the bottom floor. So that if a hardcore prisoner is produced, it will happen in the jail itself, there will be no need to take the prisoner outside. Only the judge concerned with him will come to the jail. The CM told that Ludhiana has been chosen because two judges from all over Punjab can come to the jail in two and a half hours, with which it will become very easy as it was very difficult to take many prisoners to court. Now everything will be under one roof.

Road safety force will be formed
Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann said that Punjab had the highest number of road accidents in the country when he was a Member of Parliament. At that time he had taken the data. Every day 14 deaths used to happen in Punjab in road accidents. Now their government has been formed, now a new police force will be started in Punjab which will be different from Punjab Police, its name will be Road Security Force.

Uniform will be different, duty will be on the roads
Whose duty will be only on the roads of Punjab, their uniform will be different, the color of their vehicles will be different, they will have the right to challan the vehicles running on the road which are running at a high speed and which are having road accidents. They will be provided with a crane, which can be used to clear the road in case of an accident, and with this, the work of the Punjab Police, which used to be more on the roads earlier, will be less and these people will be stationed in the police stations for the safety of the common people. They will also get time for their children.
