Tamil Nadu minister V Senthil Balaji underwent coronary artery bypass surgery on Wednesday (June 21) at Kaveri Hospital in Chennai. The hospital issued a statement saying that Balaji underwent coronary artery bypass surgery and is currently under medical observation.
DMK leader’s minister’s aide told that Senthil has undergone bypass surgery and is currently in the post operation ward of the hospital, and doctors are looking after him. Kaveri Hospital also issued a press statement saying Tamil Nadu Minister V. Senthil Balaji underwent bypass surgery at a private hospital here and his blood flow is normal.
ED had arrested Senthil Balaji last week in the alleged scam of giving money in lieu of government job in the state. ED had raided his house last week and after about 12 hours, ED took him into its custody. When Senthil was being taken in ED custody, his health suddenly deteriorated and he was taken to the hospital.
