After a two-decade-long career in the entertainment industry, Karishma felt that despite her best efforts, she was not getting what she deserved. Then he turned to OTT in 2022 with ‘Hush Hush’. He says that his latest OTT release ‘Scoop’ gave him what he was waiting for years. During an interview, the actress also talked about her comeback on TV.

While the actress said in an interview to ETimes TV, “I am grateful to Hansal Mehta for believing in me and bringing out the best in me.” Karishma said, ‘I am focused on my work, about which all the talk is done .I am versatile but always keep quiet about my work.I never tell my family about my rejections

In all these years, I have never done any networking, never attended any award function. I focused all my attention on my work. Not only actors, there are ups and downs in everyone’s life. Low level makes you strong. I have suffered a lot, but never lost hope. Sometimes I still feel like I just arrived.”

Had to take a break from TV to expand its scope
On the other hand, about Kambay on TV, Karishma said, “Television has been like home for me, whatever I have achieved so far in my career is because of it, I got to play different characters on the small screen and do different things. It has been fun working in the format (fiction and reality). I am aware of the popularity and reach of TV, but I had to take a break from TV so that I could expand my reach. My work on TV is not over, I have not left this medium. But if I had to do a TV show at this stage of my career, it would be somewhat mind boggling.
