What is the reason for the trouble?

In fact, the British government has issued a statement on Sheikh Hasina’s visit to London. The British government indicated that she cannot be provided legal protection in Britain against any possible investigation. It was said that other options are being considered.

India helped

On Monday (5 August), Sheikh Hasina left Bangladesh and reached India. NSA Ajit Doval also met Sheikh Hasina. There was a long discussion between the two on the current developments in Bangladesh. Along with this, there was also a discussion about the future.

India assured help

On Tuesday (August 06), External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar spoke on the Bangladesh issue. He said that an all-party meeting was held in Delhi in which former Bangladesh Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has been assured of help. The Indian government has also given her time to consider the next plans.

Pakistan had expressed objection

Pakistan had objected to India’s move to help former Bangladesh Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina. Former Pakistani minister Fawad Chaudhary posted on social media platform X that India should not interfere in the affairs of another country.
