General Ryder said the Defense Secretary has already ordered additional fighter jets and missile-carrying warships to the region. The order comes in response to threats from Iran and its allies in Gaza, Lebanon and Yemen to attack Israel in revenge for the killing of Hamas leader Ismail Haniyeh in Tehran on July 31.

F-35 fighter jets deployed on USS Abraham Lincoln

‘USS Theodore Roosevelt’ will start returning from West Asia soon. However, last week Austin said that ‘USS Abraham Lincoln’ would reach the Central Command area by the end of this month.
