Amidst the Bangladesh violence, Pakistan President Asif Ali Zardari has given a statement for the Pakistani minority Hindus which has surprised everyone.

President Asif Ali Zardari and the military leadership announced that they pledged to protect the minorities. They also said that care would be taken to ensure that the rights of Hindus are not harmed.

Pakistan also says it will work to promote the spirit of inter-religious harmony, love, tolerance, brotherhood and unity from all sections of society.

President Zardari said in his speech that according to the Constitution of Pakistan, minorities in the country get all political, economic and social rights.

Even on 11 August 1947, Pakistan had promised to protect the rights of minorities, but if we look back into the pages of history, just the opposite has happened in Pakistan.

If we look at the data from 1947 to 2024, the number of minorities in Pakistan has always declined.

Human rights organizations have reprimanded Pakistan many times on this issue, but still there is no effect on this country. Despite all this, minorities have to face a lot of problems in Pakistan.
