Immigration to Sweden : Sweden is currently in the news because of one of its schemes. It is even giving money to its citizens to leave the country. Sweden’s Immigration Minister Maria Malmer presented this proposal, which is currently in the media. According to the proposal, any Swedish citizen born abroad who wants to leave the country can leave the country on his own will. The government will also give them money for this. The fare for this will also be paid by the government. Although a voluntary immigration scheme is already in place in this country, some improvements have also been made in it. According to the old scheme, refugees and migrants get about 80 thousand rupees in Indian currency on leaving the country. This money is given to them at once. At the same time, the government also gives them the fare to leave the country. Now the government is preparing to include citizens in this as well.
According to the new proposal of the government, now all citizens will be included in it. The grant of 10 thousand Swedish Krona given to those leaving the country will also not be increased. The government believes that this will send a message that the Swedish government does not like them, so people from many countries of the world settle in Sweden. This is the reason why the population here has doubled in 20 years. The number of migrants is more than 20 lakh, which is one-fifth of the total population of Sweden.
Government gave a big offer
The Immigration Minister said that people come, but they are not able to adjust to Swedish society. Such people are being given a chance to leave the country. The government will also provide them financial help. The government also said that there are many people in Sweden whose children were born in Iraq, Syria and Somalia, but now they want to come and live in Sweden. The government has this offer for such people as well.
