The Congress leader himself has given this information by posting on his social media account. He has written in a post on Instagram that the doctors have advised him to take bed rest for five days.

Digvijay Singh wrote in the post, “My COVID test has come positive. I have been asked to rest for 5 days. So I will not be able to meet for some time. Sorry. All of you should also take care of yourself to avoid COVID.”

Digvijay Singh had gone to get Rakhi tied on Rakshabandhan
It is noteworthy that a day before, on the occasion of Raksha Bandhan, Congress MP Digvijay Singh had gone to Anjana Ahirwar’s house to get a Rakhi tied. During this, he met the mother of the deceased Nitin alias Lalu Ahirwar and Anjana Ahirwar and got a Rakhi tied from them. Last year, after the murder of Nitin Ahirwar, he had promised his mother that he would come every year to get a Rakhi tied from her.

Digvijay Singh had also posted about this on his social media account. He wrote on Instagram, “This year Nitin’s uncle was killed and during the same time, Nitin’s sister Anjana Ahirwar also died under suspicious circumstances. When Nitin was killed, I made his mother, whose name is Badi Bahu, my sister and tied a Rakhi to her and assured her that I will come to her every year to tie a Rakhi.”

He has tested positive for corona twice before
For information, let us tell you that this is not the first time that former Chief Minister Digvijay Singh’s Covid test has come positive. Earlier also Digvijay Singh was affected by the corona virus in January and then in April 2021.
