Employees will have to pay approximately $15 million
The company said in a regulatory filing that it will have to pay $12 million to $15 million to the employees due to this layoff. The company will make this money available in the third and fourth quarters. About 1400 companies are associated with Five9. Mike Berkland has described this layoff as unfortunate. He said that we will have to separate some of our good colleagues from ourselves. However, it was necessary to do so for the company to work on a new strategy.
The company will be able to save $35 million through layoffs and profits will increase
