Bhilwara News: There was a lot of tension in Bhilwara, Rajasthan after a cow’s tail was found outside a temple. The police lathicharged the protesters and dispersed the crowd.
Bhilwara Collector Namit Mehta said that information was received that the tail of a cow was cut and kept near a religious place. Some people had staged a sit-in protest regarding this. Some public representatives and saints who came in this regard have protested.
He said that action will be taken against whoever is behind this matter. He said that the protest was called off after persuasion. However, in Bhilwara, the police and the protesters came face to face. The police lathicharged the protesters.
Rajasthan Congress has targeted this matter by tweeting. Rajasthan Congress wrote on Twitter, “BJP lathi charges on cow devotees! On the holy occasion of Lord Krishna’s #Janmashtami, BJP’s #Parchi_Sarkar is getting the cow devotees beaten up by the police. #Shameful”
