Rajasthan Weather Update: The condition of Rajasthan is bad due to monsoon rains. According to the weather department, there is no relief from rain yet. A warning of heavy rain has been issued for tomorrow, Tuesday as well. Very heavy category rain was recorded in Pratapgarh during 24 hours. There was heavy rain at some places in Rajsamand, Chittorgarh, Ajmer, Bhilwara and Pali districts and heavy to very heavy rain in Banswara and Dungarpur districts. Due to heavy rains, rivers, canals and lakes have filled up.
People are facing problems due to waterlogging in many districts. The water of Ajmer’s Anasagar lake has started reaching the lower areas. People are forced to move around in the water. There is severe waterlogging in Chhinch of Banswara. Rainwater has started entering people’s homes.

Rain wreaks havoc in Rajasthan
The weather centre Jaipur has said that in the last 24 hours, the maximum rainfall was recorded in Pipalkhunta of Pratapgarh. 260 mm rainfall was recorded in Pipalkhunta. Heavy rains occurred in many places of Rajasthan. The weather centre recorded rainfall till 8:30 am on Monday. Clouds also thundered before the rain in many places of western and eastern Rajasthan.
The weather centre said that Banswara received 195 mm of rain, Chikali in Dungargarh received 132 mm of rain. Meanwhile, 127 to 195 mm of rain was recorded in Salopat, Bagidora, Bhungra, Arthuna, Garhi, Sajjangarh and Kesarpura in Banswara.
Similarly, heavy rains occurred at many places in Chittorgarh, Dungarpur, Pali, Pratapgarh and Rajsamand districts. The weather center has said that rain has been predicted due to the effect of the new weather system. The rain will continue in southern and eastern Rajasthan for the next one or two days. There is a strong possibility of very heavy rain at some places. On August 27, strong winds are expected to blow at a speed of 40-60 kilometers per hour in some parts of southern Rajasthan.
