‘CM Mamata did not go and rape’, TMC defends Kolkata incident, questions raised on CBI!

Kolkata Rape-Murder Case: The CBI is investigating the case of rape and murder of a trainee doctor at Kolkata’s RG Kar Medical College and Hospital. The West Bengal government and TMC have gone into defending mode on the Kolkata incident. The intellectual cell of TMC has come into the field to bat on behalf of TMC. Meanwhile, the advisor of the West Bengal Child Rights Commission raised questions on the investigating agency CBI and said that CM Mamata Banerjee did not go and rape.

During this, Ananya Chakraborty, advisor of West Bengal Child Rights Commission, while addressing a press conference said that we are very sad about the rape and then murder of the trainee doctor in RG Kar Medical College and Hospital. She said that politics is being done over a dead body on the RG Kar incident. Where the opposition wants the resignation of the Chief Minister, because it is easy to target a woman. Whereas, in the states of male Chief Ministers, resignation is not sought on such incidents.

‘Police did not delay in filing FIR’

Ananya Chakraborty further said that Kolkata Police did not delay in registering a case in the investigation of the rape and murder of a trainee doctor at RG Kar Medical College and Hospital. Apart from this, the former principal of the hospital, Sandeep Ghosh, was transferred three times in the last two years. But a group of students of RG Kar repeatedly demanded his recall. After which the health department was forced to send him back.

‘Why is the CBI investigation taking so long?’

During the press conference, when Ananya Chakraborty was asked why Sandeep Ghosh was made the principal of National College just eight hours after his resignation? Responding to this, Ananya said that the biggest punishment is transfer, which was already done to him. But he cannot be kept sitting.

She further said that when CM Mamata Banerjee came out on the streets, what was in her hands? By that time the case had already gone to the CBI. Ananya Chakraborty said that what is the allegation on Mamata Banerjee? She herself did not go and rape. Where Mamata Banerjee’s police itself arrested the first accused. After that why did the CBI not arrest the second? I would say that everyone should sit on a dharna in front of the CBI office. And they should be asked what is the truth, why is the investigation taking so long?

‘Opposition is doing politics by spreading fake news’

Ananya Chakraborty further said that the opposition is doing politics by spreading fake news on social media. She alleged that Ram and Bam are trying to sideline the Chief Minister. Ananya said that Hindus will not be angry with Mamata due to the slogan of Ram Bam. Because I am also a Hindu. Only people who give English do not vote for Mamata. Because she comes from the working class and still lives in the slum area. Is BJP demanding resignation in Manipur too? Neither the people of Manipur NCW nor Smriti Irani went.
