Presidential Debate: The US presidential election is not far away now. Donald Trump has threatened to pull out of the presidential debate with Kamala Harris to be held on September 10 before the election. After this, should it be assumed that Trump will not participate in this traditional and rule-based debate and it will be cancelled?
Donald Trump, who is bidding for the presidential election for the third time, also said that why would I debate against Kamala Harris on that TV channel (CNN)? Kamala Harris’s team has demanded the return of open microphones in this debate, while Donald Trump’s team is demanding exactly the opposite. Donald Trump threatened not to debate.
Trump hides behind the mute button – Brian Fallon
Donald Trump’s senior advisor Jason Miller said that he had already agreed to a debate similar to CNN’s June debate, which had muted microphones, so why is it being changed? On the other hand, Brian Fallon from Kamala Harris’s camp said that the microphones should be kept on throughout the broadcast program. He even said that Trump should stop hiding behind the mute button. Regarding this, Donald Trump said that it does not matter to me. I would probably prefer to keep it on, but the consensus was that this time the debate would be like the last debate.
Harris refuses to debate
Donald Trump had proposed a Fox News debate for September 4, but Kamala Harris flatly refused to participate in it. Last month, Kamala Harris became the Democratic candidate after President Joe Biden withdrew from the presidential race. Then she said that she would participate in the debate organized by ABC News on September 10, which was already agreed upon by Joe Biden and Donald Trump.
