Microsoft 365 Outage: Microsoft 365 services have suddenly stopped working. More than 16,000 users have faced problems due to this. According to outage tracking website Downdetector.com, this incident has affected many users. Just two months ago, a software update affected about 8.5 million Windows devices. This had a bad impact on operations in major industries like airlines, banks and healthcare.
Microsoft responded
Microsoft has also given its response regarding the service disruption. The company said, ‘We are investigating the problems due to which users are not able to use Microsoft 365 services.’ The company has not yet given any information about the problem nor has it told when this problem will be resolved. At the same time, Microsoft’s Azure cloud platform has said that there is a problem connecting to AT&T network. It is being investigated.
This could be the reason for the service being down
The possible reason for the problem in Microsoft services could be the AT&T network. According to Downdetector, problems related to AT&T services have been reported, while more than 6,500 users reported problems in accessing Microsoft 365 services.
The server was down on July 19 as well
Earlier on Friday (July 19, 2024), Microsoft’s server went down and its effect was seen all over the world. The biggest reason for this was said to be the update in the antivirus program. Due to the server going down, its effect was seen on air services, telecommunication services, banks and media institutions. This was said to be the biggest IT crash till date. It took about a week for the company to fix it completely.
