• In the 2019 elections, BJP won 29 seats, Congress won 15 seats, Shiv Sena won 4 seats, NCP won 6 seats and Independents won 8 seats.
• Many political equations have changed after 2019. It is reported that assembly seats of Nagpur, Wardha and Buldhana districts have been discussed in Mahavikas Aghadi.
• In the first phase of the meeting regarding Vidarbha seats, there was a rift on a total of 12 seats, out of 12 seats the rift has been resolved and now the Mahavikas Aghadi alliance will again discuss the remaining six seats.
• Some seats are traditionally contested by the Shiv Sena-Thackeray group, which is also claimed by the Congress, while some seats are traditional seats of the Congress.
