Ameth Murder Case: In the case of murder of a Dalit teacher and four members of his family in Amethi district of Uttar Pradesh, the state government on Sunday provided an amount of Rs 5 lakh as immediate financial assistance to the dependents of the family. A senior official of the state government gave this information late on Sunday evening. Government school teacher Sunil Kumar (35), his wife Poonam (32) and two daughters Drishti (six) and Suni (one year) were shot dead on Thursday evening in Ahorva Bhawani area of ​​Amethi district. Sunil Kumar was a resident of Sudamapur village in Rae Bareli district.

On this occasion, District Magistrate Harshita Mathur, Superintendent of Police Dr. Yashveer Singh, Additional District Magistrate Administration Siddharth, Deputy District Magistrate Siddharth Chaudhary, Social Welfare Officer Srishti Awasthi and other officers were present. According to the police, Chandan Verma, accused of murder of four members of a Dalit family, was injured by a bullet in his leg during an encounter with the police in the early hours of Saturday. He was arrested by the police from Gautam Buddha Nagar.
