Israel-Hezbollah War: The conflict between the Lebanese extremist group Hezbollah and Israel is continuously increasing. Meanwhile, the Israeli Air Force killed terrorist Naser Abed al-Aziz Rashid, deputy commander of Hezbollah’s Bint Jbeil area.
Nasser Abed al-Aziz was carrying out terrorist activities against Israeli citizens from the Rashid bint Jbeil area. This is being seen as a big loss for Hezbollah. Earlier, he had killed Hezbollah battalion commander Hussein Muhammad Awada in Lebanon.
Israel is continuously attacking Lebanon
The Israeli army has been carrying out air strikes on Lebanon since September 23. On Wednesday (October 16), the IDF had said in its statement that the Israeli army had killed more than 45 Hezbollah fighters. In addition, it has destroyed more than 150 targets belonging to the military group, including weapons storage facilities, launchers and military infrastructure.
Hezbollah has threatened Israel
At the same time, after the death of Hamas Chief Yahya Sinwar, Hezbollah has warned Israel. Hezbollah said it was starting a new phase in its war against Israel. It said it would use precision-guided missiles to target troops.
It is noteworthy that Israel alleges that Sinwar was the mastermind of the October 7 attack last year. 1200 people were killed in this attack while more than 250 people were taken hostage. Sinwar was killed by the Israeli army on 16 October. Israel officially announced the death of the Hamas leader on Thursday. It was only after this attack that Israel attacked Gaza.
According to Al Jazeera’s Friday report, at least 42,438 people have been killed and 99,246 injured in Israeli attacks in Gaza since October 7, 2023.
