UP Politics: Samajwadi Party’s rebel MLA Rakesh Pratap Singh from Gauriganj seat of Amethi, Uttar Pradesh has started his journey on foot to Ayodhya Dham. Earlier, at 6 pm on Sunday evening, the SP MLA first reached his native village Mau where he started the yatra from his residence. He took blessings from his parents and then visited Kuldevi Maa.
Rakesh Pratap Singh has also shared pictures of starting his padyatra on social media. With which he wrote – ‘After receiving the blessings of his revered parents and family deities, he started the “Shri Ram Padyatra” from 6:00 pm from his private residence in his birthplace, Gram Sabha Mau. The SP MLA had announced to start a padyatra with Ram devotees a few days ago.
This padyatra of SP MLA to Ayodhya Dham will start from November 11, which will be 108 kilometers from Gauriganj. Rakesh Pratap Singh along with his colleagues and party workers will reach Ayodhya Dham from Gauriganj. After which he will have darshan of Lord Ramlala in Ram temple.

According to the programme, on November 11, SP MLAs will undertake a padyatra from Gauriganj to Musafirkhana, after which they will rest here in the evening, after which, the next day, they will proceed on foot from here to Milkipur on November 12. After this, on November 13, the next stop of his journey will be Saket Mahavidyalaya in Ayodhya, where he will rest. On November 14, he will visit Ramlala along with his supporters and Ram devotees.

After visiting the Ram temple, Rakesh Pratap Singh will leave for Gauriganj by bus with his supporters. He has called upon all the people and all the families of his assembly to join his padyatra. It is believed that a large number of people can participate in this journey with him.
The SP MLA says that he wanted to go to Ayodhya at the time of the inauguration of the temple. He had also proposed to all the MLAs in the Assembly that they should collectively go to Ayodhya and have darshan of Ramlala. But he did not go after orders from the party president. He obeyed the party high command Ram Mandir But, now he will have darshan of Ramlala while walking on foot.
