Trump calls Putin to end Ukraine war! Russia told what is the truth of the claim

Russia US Relations: The Kremlin on Monday (November 11) rejected reports of an alleged telephone conversation between US President-elect Donald Trump and Russian President Vladimir Putin and described such claims as “completely imaginary”.

The statement said, “The report of a phone conversation between Putin and Trump is untrue, there was no phone conversation. Putin has no specific plans to talk to Trump at this time.” The Washington Post was the first to report that this conversation took place on Thursday. At the same time, news agency Reuters also told that there was a phone conversation between the two big leaders.

What did Washington Post claim?

The Washington Post reported that Trump made the call from his Mar-a-Lago estate in Florida on Thursday, just days after his landslide victory over Democratic rival Kamala Harris in the recently concluded US presidential elections. The report further claimed that during the talks the Russian President was advised not to instigate war in Ukraine. The Washington Post, citing a person familiar with the conversation, said that during the phone call, Donald Trump reminded Putin of Washington’s large military presence in Europe.

Trump promised to end the Russia-Ukraine war

During his election campaign, Trump promised to immediately resolve the Ukrainian conflict, but he did not say how he planned to do so. According to the Washington Post, Trump has said privately that he would support a deal in which Russia would retain some of the liberated territories, and he briefly discussed the issue of the territories during a phone call with Putin.

The American newspaper wrote that the Ukrainian government was informed about this conversation and did not raise any objection to it, because Kiev officials knew that Trump would discuss the matter with Putin.
