Hamas has expressed the group’s desire for a ceasefire agreement with Israel in Gaza. Along with this, America’s newly elected President Donald Trump has been urged to put pressure on Israel regarding the ongoing military operations in the Palestinian territory.

Called on Trump to put pressure on Israeli government

“Hamas will agree to reach a ceasefire in the Gaza Strip if the proposal is presented and on the condition that the Israeli side respects the proposal,” said Bassem Naim, a member of Hamas’ political bureau based in Doha, the Qatari capital. Israel was attacked on October 7 last year
