Swara-Fahad did not get any electoral benefit from meeting Maulana Nomani

Even meeting Maulana did not help in elections
Swara-Fahadh met Maulana, yet it did not have a positive impact on the results of their elections. Swara and her husband also shared the photo of this meeting on their social media handle. Even after this, he lost from Anushakti Nagar assembly seat.

Amidst the election campaign, the meaning of the meeting with Maulana Nomani was being linked to the elections. A video of Nomani had gone viral a few days ago. In which he is seen speaking against BJP. However, after this video went viral, he clarified that an attempt was being made to defame him.

Maulana had personally supported Mahavikas Aghadi in this elections. Despite this, the candidate of ally party NCP-Sharad Pawar was badly defeated on the seat. There can be many reasons for this.

• Why did Swara Bhaskar’s husband lose?
  Swara Bhaskar is known for her outspokenness and outspoken style. But despite this image, she came to meet Maulana. Maulana has already spoken against women’s education. It is possible that even Swara Bhaskar’s supporters may not have liked this. Because many users also wrote that feminist Swara Bhaskar has met a Maulana with extreme ideology.

• Fahadh Ahmed and Swara had met Maulana Nomani, but the voters deprived Fahadh of any benefit that would have accrued from this political meeting with Nomani. However, the voters there gave victory to another Muslim candidate Sana Malik.
• Apart from this, this seat has been the stronghold of Sana Malik’s father Nawab Malik. He had won from here in 2009, 2014 and 2019. The results show that when his daughter contested from this seat, she also got the benefit of her father’s image, in front of which Fahad Ahmed proved to be weak.

Why was Swara Bhaskar trolled?
In fact, Sajjad Nomani has spoken against women’s education. In such a situation, Swara Bhaskar, with her always outspoken image, came to meet him. So social media users got furious. Netizens started trolling Swara by accusing her of ‘double standards’. It is clear that the benefit of meeting Maulana is less and the harm is more.
