Investigation is being done from the angle of these questions
First- Police is investigating that on whose instructions the crowd had gathered around Jama Masjid on the day of violence?
Second- Who instigated the crowd present at the spot to commit violence? To investigate this, the police is busy collecting mobile data information in the surrounding areas so that it can be found out how many mobile numbers were active at the time of violence and the police is also collecting their data and dump data which will help in the police investigation. third- Sambhal police is recovering the footage of CCTV cameras broken by rioters during the violence. So that the rioters can be identified.
Fourth- Sambhal Police has so far sent 27 mobile phones to the forensic lab for testing so that the deleted data from these phones can be recovered and it can be found out whether the riots were planned in advance before the violence.
Fifth- Sambhal Police has identified some social media handles, some WhatsApp chats and groups have also been detected in which people have been asked to gather at the mosque. Now the police is investigating the video messages posted through these social media handles.
Sixth- Sambhal Police has formed a special team to analyze the footage of CCTV cameras, mobile videos and drone cameras during the violence so that the accused can be identified.
Seventh- Sambhal police will soon record the statements of local people in the case of violence that took place on Sunday so that further action can be taken.
Police arrested 27 accused
