Mahashivratri in Haridwar: Today, on the occasion of Mahashivratri, a huge flood of faith gathered in Haridwar, devotees took Ganga water from Har Ki Pauri and proceeded towards Shivalayas. Right from Brahmamuhurta, devotees are taking bath at Har Ki Pauri, filling Ganga water and then leaving for various Shivalayas for Jalabhishek. At the Daksheshwar Mahadev Temple in Kankhal, Haridwar, the Brahmamuhurta Aarti of Mahashivratri was organized with devotion and gaiety.
