Scientists create contraceptive pill for boys, it puts brakes on sperm production

In a recently published study, scientists have achieved great success in the direction of such a contraceptive medicine for men, which can work without the effect of hormones and whose effect can be temporary.

Scientists from America’s Cornell University said in their research that the process of sperm formation can be temporarily stopped by stopping a particular process in the body. The most important thing is that it does not cause any permanent harm to the body and after stopping the medicine, the condition can return to normal again.

In this research, the scientist paid attention to an important biological process called meiosis, which is necessary for the formation of sperm. During the experiment, this process was temporarily stopped in rats by using a special compound. This resulted in sperm production stopping, but when the drug was stopped, their fertility returned and they were able to give birth to healthy children.
