According to the information, high tension wires were passing through this place, sparks came out from them during the day, which took such a monstrous form within no time. It engulfed all the surrounding slums.

People were running to save their lives. During this period, explosions in small cylinders have also come to light in some houses. Due to which the fire blazed faster, the fire was so fierce that the flames could be seen far and wide.

District Magistrate Ravindra Kumar Mandar said that there is no information about any casualty in this accident. A survey is being conducted in the area to see if any person is missing. The affected families have been taken to temporary shelters and the process of providing them relief material is underway.

Chief Fire Officer Rahul Pal said that the fire was caused by sparks from high tension wires. At present, the district administration has made Arya Public School in Kanwani a relief camp, where essential services will be provided. Food arrangements have been made here for 1,000 people.
