Mumbai Watermelon Death Case: A shocking incident has come to light from Mumbai, where four people of the same family allegedly died after eating watermelon. When the family members woke up in the morning, they were found to be suffering from vomiting and stomach pain, after which they were taken to the hospital. The condition had become so serious that all four members of the family died. After this incident, concerns have increased regarding eating summer’s favorite watermelon.

What is the whole matter?

According to the information, the family members had a party with their relatives at night, when the relatives left, everyone in the family ate watermelon and slept. When people woke up in the morning, everyone had problems like stomach ache and vomiting, after which they consulted their family doctor. Even after this, there was no improvement in the condition and the health of the family members continued to deteriorate. The condition became so bad that people’s bodies started turning blue. All four members of the family were taken to the hospital, where they died. Doctors have told that some kind of toxin has entered his body, due to which he died.

Why and how does food poisoning happen?

Food poisoning occurs when we consume food or beverages that contain harmful bacteria, viruses, parasites or poisonous substances (toxins). This problem often occurs due to spoiled food, use of chemicals, or improperly stored food. In case of food poisoning, symptoms like stomach ache, vomiting, diarrhea, weakness and fever appear. In severe cases, dehydration may also occur. If timely treatment is not received, food poisoning can be fatal, especially for children, the elderly and people with weak immune systems.

After buying fruits, wash them thoroughly and eat them so that any dirt or chemicals on them are removed, because nowadays a lot of chemicals are used to cook fruits. If possible, you can also wash the fruits with lukewarm water, due to which the chemicals get cleaned thoroughly.

Be especially careful while eating watermelon

Everyone likes to eat watermelon in summer, but it is important to take some precautions regarding it. Before eating the watermelon brought from the market, cool it to normal temperature. You can fall ill by eating hot fruits. Apart from this, watermelon should not be eaten even after coming from direct sunlight. One should also avoid eating watermelon in large quantities.
