Complete system of Ayushman Bharat will be available on WhatsApp, government launched ‘Ayushman Sarathi’ AI chatbot

To make the services related to Ayushman Bharat Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana PM-JAY easier, the Central Government has launched an official WhatsApp chatbot named ‘Ayushman Sarathi’. The government says that now the beneficiaries will not have to depend on government offices or call centers for many essential services. They will be able to avail services 24 hours a day directly through WhatsApp.

Many important services will be available on WhatsApp

Through Ayushman Sarathi, beneficiaries will be able to check their eligibility under PM-JAY. You will be able to apply for making a new Ayushman card. Will be able to download the card and do eKYC again. Apart from this, it will be easy to link Aadhaar, lock or unlock the card, view treatment records, check wallet balance. At the same time, services related to Ayushman Vaya Vandana Card will also be available on this platform for people above 70 years of age.

Facility from searching hospital to filing complaint

Chatbot is not limited to just giving information. Through this, beneficiaries can find their nearest empaneled hospital. Can file a complaint. You can track the status of the complaint or even withdraw it if needed. Apart from this, call back facility and option to give feedback after discharge from the hospital will also be available.

Government claims- service will be fast and transparent

According to the Health Ministry, Ayushman Sarathi works on a secure API based system and is directly connected to the PM-JAY platform. This will provide real-time information to the beneficiaries, speed up service delivery and reduce the need to visit government offices. The Ministry believes that this will also improve grievance redressal and service monitoring.

How to use?

It is very easy to use Ayushman Sarathi. Beneficiaries can start the chatbot by sending “HI” to WhatsApp number +91 72908 23838 or by scanning the QR code issued by the government. After this, they will get the options of all available services on WhatsApp itself.
