Is Sanju Samson himself out of Team India? Claim in the report, know the whole matter

After not performing as per expectations in three consecutive matches, a new discussion has started regarding a major decision of Team India. Now a report has given a different direction to the entire matter on which questions were being raised continuously for the last few days.

When the team’s playing eleven was announced in the second T20 match against England, many people expected that Sanju Samson would play, but it did not happen. In his place, young batsman Vaibhav Suryavanshi got a chance to debut. After this, the team management and head coach Gautam Gambhir were criticized a lot on social media. Many people believed that Samson has been dropped after poor performance.

Now TV-9 has claimed in a report quoting Cricbuzz that after scoring single digit scores in three consecutive matches, Sanju Samson himself had expressed his desire to sit out of the second T20. For this reason Vaibhav Suryavanshi got a chance to debut. However, this claim has not been officially confirmed by the Indian Cricket Board.

The report also says that there is no lack of trust between the team management and Sanju Samson. The team considers him an important part of its future plans. Especially his role is being considered important in the preparations for T20 World Cup 2028.

However, the real controversy is more about the team for the Zimbabwe tour than the second T20 of the England tour. Sanju Samson’s name was not included in the recently announced Indian T20 team against Zimbabwe. Prabhasimran Singh was given a chance in his place. After this, questions started being raised whether Samson is now out of Team India’s plans.

Some reports quoting sources associated with the team said that Samson has been given rest. On the other hand, some news claimed that the selectors are now showing more confidence in other options. At present no official statement has come out on these claims either.

Sanju Samson has been a part of the Indian team for a long time and has shown his ability to win matches with his batting on many occasions. In such a situation, only the upcoming series and future team announcements will make it clear what his role is going to be.

At present, it can definitely be said that the story regarding being left out of the second T20 was coming out till now. The new report has raised a big question on that. The final truth will come out only when the team management or Sanju Samson himself openly expresses his views on this entire matter.
