Assistance ranging from Rs 75 thousand to Rs 1.25 lakh will be available for studies, know who can apply

Under this scheme, financial assistance ranging from Rs 75 thousand to Rs 1.25 lakh will be given every year to eligible students to bear the expenses of education.

OBC, EBC and DNT category students will get the benefit of this scheme. The family annual income of the applying student should not be more than Rs 2.5 lakh. Along with this, the student must be studying in class 9 or class 11 and must fulfill the eligibility of the scheme.

Students of class 9 and 10 will get assistance up to Rs 75 thousand every year. Whereas students of class 11 and 12 will be given financial assistance up to Rs 1.25 lakh. This amount can be used for tuition fees, books, hostel and other necessary expenses related to studies.

The last date to apply online for PM Yashasvi Scholarship 2026 has been fixed as 31 August 2026. Therefore, eligible students should apply in time without waiting for the last date.

The scholarship amount will be sent directly through DBT to the bank account linked to the Aadhaar of the students who will be selected. Therefore, it is important to provide correct bank account and Aadhaar information while applying.

First of all go to the National Scholarship Portal and do OTR. After this, login and fill the PM Yashasvi Scholarship form, upload the necessary documents and submit the application. After completing the application, keep its receipt safe with you.
