An earthquake of 5.5 magnitude was felt in western Iran on Monday (20 July 2026). According to the European-Mediterranean Seismological Center (EMSC), the epicenter of the earthquake was at a depth of about 10 kilometers from the ground. According to the report, the epicenter of the earthquake was located about 54 kilometers west of Kahriz city. The population of Kahriz is about 7.66 lakh.
