Memories of Zimbabwe are special
The 15-year-old batsman said that the Harare ground is very special for him, because on this ground he had played a historic inning of 175 runs in 80 balls against England in the Under-19 World Cup final four months ago and played an important role in India winning the title.
Vaibhav said, ‘This ground is very special for me. Four months ago we won the Under-19 World Cup final here. It is every player’s dream to represent India. Playing again on the same ground will be a different feeling for me.
Will benefit from past experience
Vaibhav believes that he has a good understanding of the pitch and conditions of Harare. He said, ‘I got a good experience of these conditions by playing here during the Under-19 World Cup. Now I will try to use the same experience in this series. I will have confidence in my preparation and my game and will try to contribute as much as I can to the team.
