It is noteworthy that on 16 April 2022, Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) leader Srinivasan was murdered in Palakkad, Kerala. In September 2022, NIA took over the investigation of this case.
The accused was caught after four years
The NIA alleges that Srinivasan was murdered as part of a well-planned conspiracy by cadres associated with PFI. The agency claims that the aim of the accused was to spread communal tension through violence. It has also been alleged in the investigation that the agenda of PFI was to establish Islamic rule in India by the year 2047.
According to the investigating agency, PFI had created several wings and special units for different purposes. Selected cadres were given weapons training under the guise of physical education and yoga training. The NIA also claims that the organization’s “reporters wing” used to gather information about potential targets, while the “service team” was entrusted with the responsibility of carrying out violent incidents.
Now NIA is interrogating the arrested Muhammad Ali and is busy gathering information about the murder conspiracy, its network and other accused related to this case. The agency says that the investigation of the case is still going on.
