A delegation of eight Samajwadi Party MPs will reach Rampur on July 25 in connection with the Johar University case in Rampur, Uttar Pradesh. Here he will meet the local officials and appeal to stop the demolition and will also hold a press conference. In this regard, state party president Shyam Lal Pal has issued a letter today giving information.
The delegation will include Rampur District President Ajay Sagar along with Rajya Sabha MP Javed Ali, Lok Sabha MP Harendra Malik, Ruchi Veera, Iqra Hasan, Rajiv Rai, Mohibullah, Neeraj Maurya and Zia Ur Rehman Burke.
RDA has given notice to demolish 38 buildings
Let us tell you here that Rampur Development Authority has given notice to Rampur-based Johar University to demolish 38 buildings. According to him, these buildings have been built without rules and standards. The matter has heated up after the notice of July 15. The university management has also filed an appeal in the Commissioner’s Court against this notice and has alleged that there is a conspiracy to demolish the educational institution.
SP is completely united on this issue and is accusing Rampur Administration along with Rampur Development Authority of taking unilateral action. For the past several days, party MLAs and other leaders have started gathering in Rampur. Today, Leader of Opposition Mata Prasad Pandey also reached Rampur and assessed the situation.
Protest continues outside the university
On the other hand, after the order of the authority, the teachers and students of the university are sitting on protest. He has appealed to the administration not to demolish the university. SP MLAs are also reaching continuously. SP leaders and management have also announced to take this matter to court. He claims that he has all the evidence in which the construction in the university was done after the entire process was completed. At present, politics is very hot in this matter.
