When protests were taking place on NEET LEAK, this boy did wonders

NEET UG 2026: Protests continue across the country regarding NEET UG 2026 paper leak. Thousands of students are taking to the streets and raising their voice against the alleged irregularities in the examination. Meanwhile, the statement of Panshul Bansal of Haryana, who secured All India Rank 2 in NEET UG 2026 re-exam, is in discussion. Panshul says that after the cancellation of the examination, instead of going to protest, he focused fully on his studies and the result of the same was that he got a better score.

First there was disappointment after the exam was canceled, then the perspective changed.

Panshul Bansal told that initially he too was disappointed and sad after hearing the news of cancellation of the original NEET UG examination held on May 3. He thought that his paper went well and he could score enough marks to get admission in a government medical college, but after some time, he looked at this entire incident from a different perspective and took it as an opportunity to improve himself. He said that he had decided that instead of spending time in negative thinking, he would focus completely on preparing for the exam again.

Why should I go to protest, it is better to study at home

Talking to a media house, Panshul Bansal said that when protests were taking place across the country after the cancellation of exams, he chose a different path. He said, I thought why should I go to protest, instead I can stay at home and study. I can improve my abilities and increase my score. He says that he kept distance from any kind of negativity and focused only on his target. Panshul believed that after the exams were over, stress and anxiety would also end, so he spent all his time preparing.

Reached 715 marks from 706 marks in original exam

Panshul told that he was expected to get around 706 marks in the first exam. In the re-exam, he scored 715 marks and got All India Rank-2 with 99.9999 percentile. He said that during this extra time, he did not make any changes in his lifestyle, but continued his regular studies as before. According to him, in the last one and a half month he worked hard and left the rest to God. Panshul says that for success in any competitive examination, regular studies, discipline and continuous practice are most important. Panshul advised the students to focus on their preparation instead of comparing themselves to others and try to improve themselves every day.
