Major action taken on NTA’s paper leak, 47 officers dismissed

NEET Paper Leak: The country’s largest examination conducting body, National Testing Agency or NTA, has been facing serious allegations of paper leak for some time. Amid claims of playing with the future of millions of youth, the Union Education Ministry has now adopted a tough stance. To restore the credibility of the recruitment and examination system, the government has started a large-scale clean-up campaign. Under this entire exercise, strict decisions are being taken to eliminate laxity and corruption within the agency. In the same sequence, NTA has taken major action and dismissed 47 officers in the NEET paper leak case. Let us know about this in detail.

Service of 47 NTA officers terminated

NTA, the organization that conducts many national level examinations including NEET, has taken a historic step by fixing responsibility for the irregularities. The agency has dismissed 47 of its officers and employees. Not only this, apart from departmental action against some officers involved in paper leak and scam, full preparations are also being made for criminal cases and tightening of legal screws. Sources in the Education Ministry clearly say that the culprits who compromise the transparency of the examination system will not be spared at any cost.

Plan to change the entire structure of NTA in the next one month

If official sources of the Education Ministry are to be believed, this major action of dismissal is a part of NTA’s restructuring of the entire administrative and executive structure. After being surrounded by controversies for a long time, now the deadline for restructuring of the agency has been fixed. The government will completely change the entire functioning of NTA, responsibilities of officers and internal management within the next one month. The main objective of this big change is to make the country’s competitive examinations completely transparent and reliable.

Changes in outsourcing rules on the recommendation of experts

Ignoring security standards and outsourcing were considered to be one of the main reasons for irregularities in the examinations. Keeping this in mind, the government has decided to implement the recommendations of a special committee of experts. Under this, the entire pattern of handing over work to external agencies by NTA will be changed. New and strict rules are being made for the selection of private agencies and vendors, so that papers can never be leaked in future.

Leak-proof examination system being prepared for the future

The ultimate goal of the complete restructuring by NTA is to create a security system that cannot be penetrated by anyone. For this, a leak proof examination system is being prepared, through which both technology and human resources will be tightly guarded. The central government has a clear message that any kind of fraud with students will not be tolerated and many more stringent reform steps will be taken in the coming days.
