Aditya Dhar writes, ‘Some films stay with you forever and Dhurandhar is one of them for me. The reason for this was not only because of the story but because I was able to see what very few directors are able to see. I have always known that you are a great actor. But this journey made me crazy about an artist like you. More than that of the person who is behind that artist.

Aditya Dhar further writes, ‘There were some days during the shooting of Dhurandhar, when I felt that I was going to feel something special. The 26/11 scene, the last scene at the tea stall, the Pathanakot massacre, the pump house scene, the scene outside the court… these are just to name a few. Take after take, scene after scene, you never chose the easy path. Every emotion was shown where it was needed. There was a meaning behind every silence. There was a purpose in every glance and every moment was absolutely perfect. The consistency in your performance was amazing, which was difficult to understand. It seemed as if there was a hand of divine grace. It seemed as if Mother Saraswati had blessed him by placing her hand on his head. For a director, there are some moments which he spends his entire career to live. Because of you I got those moments again and again.
