Advance booking of ‘Bhoot Bangla’ started earlier this week and the film gained good momentum through pre-sales. Horror-comedy films usually do not take such huge advance bookings, but still on the strength of Akshay Kumar’s star power, ‘Bhoot Bangla’ sold 1.3 lakh tickets in the pre-sale on its first day.

• According to the report of SACNILC, ‘Bhoot Bangla’ earned Rs 3.32 crore from advance booking on the first day. In such a situation, the film can open in double digits on the first day.
• The film has also got the benefit of paid preview. Let us tell you that the paid previews of the film started on Thursday, April 16 at 9 pm, which was a day before the release of the film.
• Despite being a limited show, Bhoot Bangla performed brilliantly on Thursday and collected a net collection of Rs 3.50 crore from paid previews, much more than expected.

Earlier, Dhurandhar 2 had made a record breaking opening of Rs 145 crore last month.
