2 year old child Covid positive in Varanasi, second case of corona found in 10 days

The arrival of Covid-19 in Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh has created a stir in the health department. This is the second case this year in which Covid has been confirmed. Covid virus has been found in a two-year-old child. The child is being treated at a private hospital in Kakarmatta area of ​​the city.

Earlier, on July 11, Covid was confirmed in a 27-year-old man in Varanasi. He is also undergoing treatment in BHU. The Health Department has started investigating both the cases and tracing the people who came in contact with them. The reports of both the patients are also being monitored. Apart from this, there is no information of any patient being Covid-19 positive anywhere else.

District administration appealed to the people

After two cases were found in the district in just ten to twelve days, the health department has come on alert mode. The administration has appealed to the people to avoid going to crowded places, use masks and wash hands and use sanitizers. According to health department officials, there is nothing to fear in this, vigilance has to be maintained.

Concern increased due to fear of Covid

Although the district administration has claimed to deal with any situation, it has also said that there is no need to panic right now. Records of both the cases are being checked and their reports are being seen. Close relatives of both the patients will also be checked. Constant monitoring is being done.

After so many years, the sudden confirmation of Covid-19 in two patients has increased the panic among the people. But experts believe that now there is no such thing as an epidemic because most of the people have been vaccinated. Mild symptoms go away soon. Still, vigilance is necessary.
