How many cases of corona are currently active in India

According to the WHO report, 908 active cases of Covid have been found in India from June to July 2024. 2 people have also died in this. Health experts say that the situation in India is not as serious as in other countries, but one has to remain alert to avoid Covid-19. The virus is coming out once again and if the death toll is also increasing due to it, then the situation can also be worrying. Let us tell you that the World Health Organization has informed that about 26% deaths have occurred due to this virus in the world and 11% corona cases have increased.

What does the health ministry say?

This time the KP variant of Corona is raising concern, which is related to Omicron. Omicron was first identified in the world in January. In India, KP.2 was first found in Odisha in December 2023. The Covid dashboard of the Union Health Ministry shows that 279 active cases have been registered in many states of the country. Corona infection is increasing in Assam, New Delhi, Gujarat, Kerala, Karnataka, Maharashtra and Madhya Pradesh.

Measures to avoid corona this time

Even though Corona is becoming active once again, the situation in India is normal. In July, Health Minister JP Nadda told the Parliament that there is no need to fear Corona in the country right now. There has been no increase in Covid cases in the hospital. Health experts say that the government is keeping an eye on this. Vaccines are available in the country according to the population which will help in preventing it.
