Sensation due to honor killing in Suryapet city of Telangana, young man murdered due to love marriage!

Honor Killing in Telangana: A case of honor killing has come to light in Suryapet city of Telangana, which has created a sensation in the entire area. Here a person named Vadlakonda Krishna, a resident of Mamillagadda, was brutally murdered. The deceased is also known as Mala Bunty. Local people saw his body on the banks of Musi canal near Pillalmarri and immediately informed the police.

According to the preliminary investigation of the police, the reason behind the murder is believed to be love marriage. About six months ago, Bunty had a love marriage with Kotla Bhargavi of Pillalmarri village and settled in Suryapet. Bhargavi’s family had opposed this marriage and made several attempts to separate them. The police suspect that Bhargavi’s brother, Kotla Naveen, murdered Bunty out of enmity towards her because of her inter-caste marriage.

On the day of the incident, around 5 pm, Bunty received a call from his friend Mahesh. After this he informed his wife and went out of the house. When Bunty did not return home at night, the family became worried. The next day his body was found near Pillalmarri pond. During examination of the dead body, marks of hanging on the neck and burn wounds on the body were found, which indicate brutal murder. Police have registered the case and started searching for the suspects.

‘Evidence points towards honor killing’
DSP Ravi told about this matter that the case has been registered and investigation is being done from all possible angles. He also said that preliminary evidence is pointing towards honor killing. We will arrest the culprits soon.

Bunty’s wife Bhargavi told that we had married against the wishes of the family, but we were hopeful that everything would be fine with time. I didn’t know that they would take Bunty’s life.
