Allegation of BAMS paper leak in Gujarat Ayurved University, 11 out of 12 questions go viral

Gujarat Ayurved University Paper Leak: The cases regarding NEET paper leak had not yet stopped when another controversial case of paper leak has come to light from Jamnagar, Gujarat. Jamnagar based Gujarat Ayurved University is once again under the scanner regarding the examination system. Allegations of paper leak have come to light in the examination of Surgical Mechanism-1 subject of BAMS third year under the university. It is being claimed that out of the 12 important questions that went viral on WhatsApp before the exam, 11 were asked in the exam. After this, students and different student organizations have demanded an impartial investigation.

Allegation of question going viral even before the exam

Before the BAMS Third Year Surgical System-1 examination held on July 20, some important questions came to light on the social media platform WhatsApp. After the examination was over, students claimed that out of the 12 questions that went viral, 11 questions were included in the examination question paper. After this claim the fear of paper leak increased.

The matter came to light after the examination

It is being told that many students who took the exam came to know about this entire matter after the exam was over. After this, serious questions started being raised on the examination system and security arrangements of the university. Students say that if there is so much similarity between the viral material and the question paper, then the entire matter should be investigated impartially.

Special committee formed to investigate

According to the acting examination director of the university, H.P. Jhala, the examination was conducted as per the schedule. Later it was reported that some questions went viral on WhatsApp before the examination, after which after discussing with the Vice Chancellor, it was decided to form a special committee to investigate the matter. The university says that the committee will investigate the viral material, original question paper and other related facts. If the investigation reveals any violation of rules, legal action will be taken as per university rules.

Student organization raised demand for fair investigation

Youth Congress and NSUI have submitted a memorandum to the university administration in this matter, demanding a high-level and transparent investigation. Organizations say that if the paper leak is confirmed, then strict legal action should be taken against sensible people and appropriate decisions should be taken keeping in mind the interests of the students. The organizations have also warned that if action is not taken soon in the matter, then agitation will be carried out along with the students. Apart from this, the university has also clarified that at present the examination of other subjects of 20 to 25 colleges related to it will continue as per the already scheduled schedule.
