National Council of Educational Research and Training (NCERT) has said that in order to reduce the burden of students in view of the corona epidemic, periodic classification of elements, democracy, political parties (full page) and challenges of democracy from class 10th textbook Complete chapters have been removed. Periodic Table has also been removed from Chemistry by the National Council of Educational Research and Training.

However, after the decision of NCERT, scientists and teachers have expressed concern over the removal of important chapters from the Class 10 syllabus. In the past, it was also decided to remove Charles Darwin’s theory of evolution from the science textbooks of class 9 and class 10.
