There are many reasons for leaving or changing jobs. But when this opportunity comes in your life, then definitely keep some things in mind. There are some mistakes that you should not make before leaving the job and some preparations that must be done. Know the list of such things.

Keep these things in mind before leaving the job

Explore options No matter how much and whatever the problem is in the old job, find a new option before leaving it. Without a job, it becomes very difficult to get a new job and get a good salary.

Do not leave the job in anger If you ever get very angry on something or if you are unhappy about something, do not leave the job at once. This spoils your impression in the new company along with the company you are working in.

Inform your seniors If there is any problem then first talk to your seniors about it then think of changing the job or leaving. May be the problem can be solved by coming to that level.

Give notice and also complete the time – Following the due rules of the company in which you work, tell in advance that you are leaving the job. Complete the notice period and inform the officials formally in time.

Complete your project If you are doing some work, do not leave it incomplete. If possible, go after completing your target or project or the work you have taken in hand. With this, you will maintain a good relationship with the old company as well.

Quit the job on a good note While leaving or changing jobs, do not do any such work which will tarnish your image. Go by talking properly, telling, following the rules. Never leave work by fighting with someone, writing a mail against someone or fighting with the company.

Delete your personal data – Delete all your data from the computer or ID where you work. Do not leave any personal things or photos, documents, mail etc. in the old office.
