Dream of becoming an officer in RBI comes true, notification for Grade B recruitment released

A great opportunity has come for the youth preparing for government jobs in the banking sector. Reserve Bank of India (RBI) has released the official notification for Grade B officer recruitment. Under this recruitment drive, qualified candidates will be appointed to a total of 60 posts. The application process has started online and candidates can apply till May 20.

Under RBI Grade B Recruitment 2026, posts have been released in various departments. This includes Grade B General, DEPR and DSIM cadre. Out of total 60 vacancies, maximum posts have been kept for General Cadre.

For this recruitment, the minimum age of the candidate has been fixed at 21 years and maximum age is 30 years. Reserved category candidates will be given age relaxation as per government rules. OBC category will get 3 years, SC/ST category will get 5 years and disabled candidates will get additional relaxation.

What qualification is required?

For Grade B General post, the candidate must have a graduate degree from a recognized university. Minimum marks may also be required for some posts. For the post of DEPR, it is necessary to have a Master’s degree in Economics or Finance and for the post of DSIM, it is necessary to have a degree/Master’s degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Data Science or related subject.

Selection in RBI Grade B recruitment will be done in several stages. First, preliminary examination will be conducted, in which successful candidates will appear in the main examination. Candidates who pass the main examination will be called for interview. The final merit list will be prepared on the basis of marks obtained in main examination and interview.

How much will the application fee cost?

General, OBC and EWS category candidates will have to deposit application fee of Rs 850 plus GST. The fee for SC, ST and physically handicapped candidates has been fixed at Rs 100 plus GST.

How much salary will you get?
The starting basic salary for the candidates selected for the post of RBI Grade B Officer has been fixed at around Rs 78,450 per month, apart from this, allowances and other facilities will be provided.

• After this, click on the RBI Grade B Recruitment 2026 link visible on the homepage.
• Now select New Registration option and register by entering your name, mobile number and email ID.
• After completion of registration, login to the portal with the help of login ID and password.
• After this, fill the information correctly in the application form and upload the necessary documents.
• After this deposit the application fee.
• Check the form once carefully and click on the submit button.
• Finally, take a printout of the application form.
