IIT Kanpur students shine on the first day of placement, many got job offers

IIT Kanpur, one of the leading technical institutes of the country, has achieved a big achievement on the very first day of placement. It has been told by the institute that so far in this session, a total of 523 students have received job offers through campus placement and pre-placement offers (PPOs). Of these, 199 students have accepted their PPOs.

Special achievements of the first day

It was told by IIT Kanpur that 74 major companies took part on the first day of placement. These included big companies like Microsoft, Texas Instruments, Databricks, Google, American Express, SLB, and Deutsche Bank. Appreciating the talent and skills of the students of the institute, these companies made a large number of offers. Apart from this, 13 students have also received international job offers so far, which reflects the global demand for students and the excellence of IIT Kanpur.

Director of IIT Kanpur, Prof. Expressing happiness over this wonderful start, Manindra Agarwal said, receiving such a large number of offers on the first day and being a part of international placements is a testament to the potential of our students and the academic excellence of the institute. At the same time, Chairperson of the students’ placement office, Prof. Raju Kumar Gupta said that we are proud of this achievement of our students and congratulate all the selected students. We are confident that this session will set new records in placements.
